Who we are
Head Trainer Angela Ariatti brings more than 30 years of experience to a program built on authentic horsemanship, a supportive barn community, and an unwavering commitment to the welfare of every horse and rider in our program.
Angela’s foundation began in the United States Pony Club, where she earned her “A” certification. She then expanded her education internationally, studying and working at the Yorkshire Riding Centre in England under renowned coaches Christopher and Jane Bartle, both World Champions and national-level trainers. During her time there, she achieved her British Horse Society Intermediate Instructor certification, further strengthening her classical training and teaching credentials.
Committed to lifelong learning, Angela continued her academic education at the University of Louisville, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing and Sales. All the while she continued to teach horseback riding at local farms in the Louisville area. This well-rounded background in horsemanship, instruction, and business ultimately shaped her vision: to inspire the next generation through quality instruction and to establish a thriving Pony Club center.
Angela is passionate about teaching riders of all ages and levels — from young children taking their first steps in the saddle to dedicated amateurs pursuing their competitive goals.
Ariatti Equestrian is also proud to be supported by a team of United States Pony Club–certified assistant trainers who work alongside Angela to provide exceptional instruction and individualized attention for every new student.
